Calculation note
Millilitre-to-fluid-ounce conversion connects metric liquid labels with US kitchen, bottle and product notes. The useful record is not just the converted number; it is the original millilitres, unit system, rounding choice and purpose of the measurement.
Millilitres are decimal; fluid ounces are customary
Millilitres belong to the metric litre system, while US fluid ounces belong to US customary liquid measure. The conversion is deterministic once the fluid-ounce system is specified.
US and imperial fluid ounces are not the same
A US fluid ounce and a UK imperial fluid ounce have different sizes. Good conversion records state the system so recipes, bottles and worksheets do not silently mix units.
Printable conversion notes reduce copying mistakes
A printed liquid-volume note can show the original mL amount, exact fl oz result, rounded display value and any batch count or allowance. That is more useful than a bare number copied into a recipe or label.
